QR Code and special needs !

A QR Code is a two-dimensional barcode that is readable by smartphones. It allows to encode over 4000 characters in a two dimensional barcode. QR Codes may be used to display text to the user, to open a URL, save a contact to the address book or to compose text messages. To read QR Codes with your smartphone, you need an appropriate software installed on your phone. For Android-based devices, you can use Barcode Scanner by ZXing. On iOS-Devices like iPhones there are also QR Code readers available on the AppStore.
We can use QR Code with special needs. For example, we can use it in teaching money concept for a special need student.

This application will boost the child’s communication skills and provide the important keywords for basic needs. What the child has to do is to listen to the phrase while viewing its picture.

How to reduce the danger of eating inedible objects?

I recently read an article:"A review of autism treatment records identifies behavioral strategies that reduce tendency to eat dangerous nonfood items." This article mentions what some children with autism may face: eating inedible objects such as screws, pins, and nails. It also effectively proposes solutions to this problem such as rewarding the child when discarding those objects properly.
Eating inedible objects is a serious problem with grave consequences, for this, I am more than glad to share this article with you.
